Description:
An upright, rectangular stele memorial with a high relief bust of Harry S. Truman on the upper front. The figure of Truman wears a coat and tie, glasses, and a Legion cap. The sculpture rests atop a rectangular foundation.

Erected by the Legionnaires and friends of the American Legion Department of Missouri through the efforts of the 15th District. Memorial honors Harry S. Truman, 1884-1972, who was the first Legionnaire president of the United States.
