Description:
A grouping of three figures each on its own base. Father M. J. McGivney, is seen standing dressed in a cassock, his arms outstretched at waist level. Next to him stands a young mother holding an infant at her proper right shoulder. A young boy stands in the center of the group looking upward, with his hands behind his back.

Remarks:
The sculpture honors Father Michael J. McGivney (1852-1890), the founder of the Knights of Columbus. It was unveiled on August 6, 1982, the final day of observances associated with the 100th Supreme Council meeting.
