Gift of Virginia Pratt Bardeen in memory of her mother, Evlyn Hull Pratt 17 Oct 1882 - 13 Sept 1972 signed Description:  An abstract sculpture of polished stainless steel with oblique blades or lines that gyrate when set in motion by wind currents. Subject:  Abstract -- Geometric Object Type:  Outdoor Sculpture -- Michigan -- Kalamazoo Kinetic Sculpture Owner:  Kalamazoo Institute of Arts, Genevieve & Donald Gilmore Art Center, 314 South Park Street, Kalamazoo, Michigan 49007 Remarks:  The sculpture is one of an edition of three. It was commissioned for the site by Virginia Pratt Bardeen in memory of her mother, Evlyn Hall Pratt, who became acquainted with George Ricky when he was Director of the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts from 1939 to 1940.
