    Remarks: 
    The sculpture was a gift to the state from the artist's daughter and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Edmund and Aloha Nielson. The casting was arranged through the Bufano Society of the Arts in San Francisco; transportation and installation of the sculpture provided by the Art in Public Places Program of the State Foundation on Culture and the Arts. IAS files contain a copy of the dedication program; and an article from "Cultural Climate" dated September 1984, pg. 8. The sculpture was cleaned and sealed in May and June 1993.
