    Description: 
    Bas-relief of a family of three standing in a U-shaped form being held by a larger male figure who watches over them. The family consists of a mother, father and son. The father stands in the middle. The large figure is legless. The sculpture is installed on the facade of a building.

    Formerly in the collection of MSI Insurance Company, 1919 University Avenue, St. Paul, Minnesota 1959-1983.
    Remarks: 
    Gift of the MSI Insurance Company, on whose headquarters the sculpture was originally installed. When MSI's new headquarters building proved architecturally incompatible with the sculpture, it was donated to the University. This is reportedly one of the largest wall sculpture in Minnesota. IAS files include related articles and press releases from the University.
