Hands clasped behind his back. Sculpture set on stone pedestal with four bronze reliefs of birds inset in each side, symbolic of the various aspects of the Archbishop's life: an owl (EDUCATION), a bird holding branch in its beak (COMMUNITY), an eagle (NATION), and a dove (CHURCH). Stone pedestal rests on low concrete base.
