The statue was dedicated by the Poles of Yonkers on May 30, 1912 Description:  Full-length portrait of General Thaddeus Kosciuszko. Dressed in uniform, he holds a scroll in his proper right hand and a sword in his proper left hand. Uniform items include a long coat with epaulets, boots and a tri-cornered hat. Pieces of a cannon protrude from the ground between his feet.
