"Twenty five blocks of rough granite set in an open sided square with a smaller square of 13 blocks located inside. Space between squares is paved with crushed one inch pieces of granite. Area inside smaller square is paved in granite flagstones. The blocks have been worked on their top edges to create slopes. They relate to each other, and possibly to the Adirondack mountains visible across the lake in New York state. The greatest height of the outer square is 8 ft., sloping to 2 ft. at the opposite corner. Greatest height of the inner square is 5 ft. 1/2 in. sloping to the opposite corner of 3 ft. Corners of the squares face the cardinal points of the compass with highest and lowest on the E-W axis. Most blocks show quarry drill marks. Three blocks have niches carved into them. One block has a square hole through it."
