Swans Fountain, (sculpture). Artist:  Pompeian Studios, fabricator. Title:  Swans Fountain, (sculpture). Digital Reference:  Medium:  White marble. Dimensions:  Approx. 88 x 28 1/2 x 21 in. Inscription:  unsigned Description:  Fountain consisting of a white marble relief panel mounted on a brick wall. At the bottom of the panel is a squared basin which juts out from the wall. Centered below the basin is a marble pedestal of reeds. The relief panel depicts a pair of swans. They are swimming among cattail reeds. The swan in the foreground has its proper right wing outstretched, its neck arched and its beak lowered. Behind it, the second swan forages in the reeds. Above the two swans is a high-relief head of a young boy. Water for the fountain flows from the boy's open mouth into the basin below.
