An environmental sculpture located adjacent to and in front of school building facade. An outdoor student rest and study area, it combines elements of sculpture, including bronze castings, and landscape architecture. A low concrete seating wall defines the edge of the sunken space. White and grey washed river stone forms the ground surface, on a concrete pad. The surface is interrupted by stepping stones, boulders and low shrubs. More shrubs and juniper and linden trees are planted in a grassy land area westward toward the street. Higher shrubs separate the patio from the roadway at the south.
