    Description: 
    King Gambrinus stands with his proper left foot on a keg in front of him. He holds a large goblet of beer in his raised proper right hand and a sword in his proper left hand. The king has a beard and moustache and wears a crown, a tunic, tights, and an ankle-length cloak that covers his proper left shoulder. The sculpture is mounted on a concrete base set in several layers of roughly-hewn stone slabs.

    Nearby plaque reads: "King Gambrinus patron Saint Gambrinus was a gallant warrior in 13th c. Belgium. This famous hero was grandmaster of the powerful Brussels Brewers Guild, and is recognized as patron saint of the Teutonic Brewer's Art. The Cor-Ten steel sculpture was commissioned by Heileman and designed by Elmer P. Petersen. Erected Anno Domini MCMLXXX".
