Dimensions:  Sculpture: approx. H. 101 in. x Diam. 35 in.; Base: approx. .25 x 11.50 x 11.50 in.(300 lbs.). Inscription:  (Stamped on vertical shear:) CHARLOTTE FREDERICKS MOWRIS (copyright symbol) PALEY 1992 (Stamped on base:) STREET signed Description:  A lamp post. The core of the lamp post is a steel pipe, from which emanate beveled steel "shears." A curved grouping of these cluster around the plastic globe at the top. Other shears descend from the lamp around the pip. in more relaxed curves. The lamp is painted a charcoal gray and is centered on a small square steel plate bolted to a concrete pad.
