    Provenance:
Formerly located Washington Square, Worcester, Massachusetts 01608 until 1955.
    Remarks:
In 1913, Mrs. Louisa B. Chamberlain, whose husband was a well known homeopathic doctor in Worcester, left $5,000 to erect a drinking fountain for horses and dogs. Originally the fountain was installed at Washington Square, but was removed in 1955 due to traffic improvements at Washington Square. In 1966, vandals cut through one of the figure's ankles. In 1978, the figure was broken off at the ankles and pushed off its base, but was repaired by the Vocational School.
