    Remarks: 
    The sculpture was designed and constructed by Will Nettleship, with the assistance of the Design Students from the class of 1983. The sculpture is sat, walked, and laid upon. The artist used a composite cement formulated to withstand temperature changes and resistant to spalling and cracking. The spaces between the segments of the sculpture were designed to prevent stress cracking that occurs when cement expands and contracts with varying climatic changes.
