Emaline (Emrich) Firestone (1848-1895), wife of David R. Firestone, was the only child of John and Elizabeth Emrich. She was brought to Wayne County with her parents from Pennsylvania in 1854 and was reared in Chester Township. Emaline united with the Lutheran Church in her youth. She was the mother of two children: Franklin T. Firestone and a daughter who died in infancy. She died in 1895 at the age of 46 after suffering ill-health for a year prior to her death.
