Remarks:
The sculpture was funded by the Georgia Council for the Arts and the Carrollton Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Arts Department. It is sited in a Japanese garden, designed by the artist and landscape architect Bob Watkins. Sidney Garner of Lee Fabricators helped with the fabrication; welding was done by
Ralph
Mullins
. The sculpture is designed to gently rock with the forces of nature, wind and rain. IAS files contain related newsclipping from the Times Georgian, April 1989, pg. 3C.
