    (Front of base, incised letters:) Ponce de Leon
    Description: 
    Ponce de Leon stands, wearing a mustache and beard, clothed in a vest, a ruffled collar, heeled shoes and stockings, with drapery covering his shoulders, arms and legs. He holds his proper right hand on his hip and crosses his proper left arm in front of his body at waist-level, his finger in a downwards pointing gesture. There is a globe behind his proper right foot. The sculpture is mounted on a short base placed atop a rectangular pedestal.
