Description:
An abstract memorial designed for viewers to walk through. Composed of a semi-circular design with twelve vertical metal sheets (bearing names of concentration camps) at either side of entrance to a polished black granite seating area. Railroad ties embedded in the ground symbolize the railroads taking Jews to their deaths and a tall black granite column symbolizes the smoke stack of the crematoriums.
