Remarks:
IAS files contain brochure "Queen Wilhelmina State Park," Arkansas Dept. of Parks & Tourism, 1994, which gives history of the park, named after Holland's Queen Wilhelmina. The first lodge at the park was built in 1897 by the Kansas City Pittsurg & Gulf Railroad. Since the railroad was largely financed by Dutch interests, the resort was named in honor of Holland's young queen.
