She is seated and holds the young Christ-child in her lap with her proper left arm. In her proper right arm she holds a sceptre. She wears a long flowing robe and a crown. The child holds an orb topped with a cross in his proper left hand. The sculpture stands in a niche on a wall above the entrance to the church.
