    Description: 
    A two-tiered fountain set in a large concrete basin, topped with a sculpture of two boys. The boys are struggling with an escaping duck, whose neck is stretched upwards. The boys are reaching up and around the duck. The boys are clothed, but barefoot. The main water spout comes out of the duck's beak. The rim of the top basin is decorated with ram heads. The rim of the lower basin is decorated with lion heads.

    IAS files contain a copy of the Auburn Courier (Auburn, IN), Oct. 19, 1911. The fountain was donated by Charles Eckhart. The cost of the fountain was nearly $2,000.
