Inscription:  (On top of base:) Carl Milles (On left side of sculpture, near base:) HERMAN/BERGMAN/FUN./SWEDEN (On plaque:) THE MILLES FOUNTAIN/Gift of/THE CLASS OF 1915/ON ITS FIFTIETH REUNION/JUNE 1965 signed Founder's mark appears. Description:  An elephant with its trunk raised up over its head sends water out the end of its trunk and over a small male figure seated on its head. The male figure has his hands raised and his proper left foot placed against the elephant's trunk. The elephant stands on a rectangular base adorned with acanthus leaves. The sculpture rests on a stone block inside an inverted truncated stone pyramid set on a lop-sided truncated stone pyramid. The bottom pyramid rests on a concrete slab surrounded by a stone border.
