Mary Hunter Harris of Courtland, Alabama was the daughter of John Hunter of North Carolina. She married Norfleet Harris of Scotland Neck, North Carolina. She is buried at Rosemont (the Sherrod Cemetery) in Lawrence County, Alabama.
