Ketchum Downtown YMCA, 401 South Hope Street, Sculpture garden, Los Angeles, California 90071 Remarks:  The sculpture, created at the artist's studio in Italy, was commissioned specifically for the new YMCA and depicts the YMCA motto. It was commissioned as part of the Community Redevelopment Agency's One Percent for the Arts, Public Arts Program, and was a gift from members of the Adams families, in memory of their forebearers, Morgan Adams, Sr., James H. Adams and movie director King Vidor (grandfather of Morgans Adams Jr.'s children). IAS files contain an undated press release from the YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles.
