    Description: 
    The stone is carved in relief with an emblem of a chain with three links, repeated four times in two rows between the names of Independent Order of Odd Fellows subordinate lodges in the city and county of Philadelphia. The inscription is incised with gold leaf or gold paint in the letters.

    Remarks: 
    One of 193 commemorative stones set into the interior walls of the Washington Monument. The stones were donated by states, cities, towns, organizations, individuals, and foreign countries in honor of George Washington. The Independent Order of Odd Fellows of the City and County of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania donated the stone, which is located at the 180 ft. level.
