    Description: 
    Friley describes as, "a water-bourne nymph-like creature, frozen in mid-gesture, as though freshly emerged from the morning mists of the nearby Olentangy River."

    Remarks: 
    Equipment rental and materials funded by Ohio State University's College of Art; time and talent donated by the artist. Designed to be placed in front of Ohio State University's Sullivant Hall at 15th and High Street, instead the sculpture was originally installed between Baker Systems Engineering Building and Erwin E. Dreese Electronics Laboratory. When Dreese Lab was renovated, the sculpture was relocated to its present location at Connor Drive and Herrick Drive, circa 1992-1993. IAS files contain copies of newspaper articles from Ohio State University's Lantern (Columbus, OH), Aug. 8, 1978, Sept. 21, 1978, and Feb. 14, 1984, which discuss sculpture's creation, placement, and controversy. IAS files also contain copy from Ohio State University's On Campus newsletter, Jan. 13, 1993, which discusses relocation of the sculpture.
