    Description: 
    An Art Deco style relief over the north entrance to the building depicts allegorical figures of a woman, representing "Guiding Influence," reaching out to hold the hand of a young boy who represents "Dependence." The woman holds a tablet in her proper left hand and the boy holds a small ship in his proper right hand. In the background there are buildings and boats illustrating the industrial history of the Genesee Valley.

    Remarks: 
    The Times Square Building was built in 1930 by the Genesee Valley Trust Company who continued to operate it until 1955, when the building was purchased by 45 Exchange Street, Inc. The new owners renamed the building "Times Square." The building was designated with landmark status and was placed on the National Register of Historic Place on Aug. 11, 1982.
