    Description: 
    A full-length figure of St. Francis, seen looking up at Christ crucified on the cross. The Christ figure turns to the right and looks down at St. Francis, who has his arms outstretched towards Christ. The figures, and three doves, are installed on the wall of the campus center building. The sculptures golden in coloring.

    Remarks: 
    The sculptures were originally designed for and installed on the St. Francis Seminary in Victoria, Kansas. The sculptures were modelled in 1962 and installed on the Seminary around May 1965. In 1983, the sculptures were re-installed on the R.A. and Catherine Comeau Memorial Catholic Campus Center building in Hays, Kansas. IAS files contain related articles from the St. Francis Seminary newsletter The Kansiscan, vol. XV, no. 4 (May 28, 1965), pg. 1; and vol. XIII, no. 3 (March 28, 1962).
