    Full-length figure of Puck, a fairy from "A Midsummer Night's Dream, is depicted as a muscular young man with short wavy hair wearing a skirt of leaves. The model for the figure was Yvan Michaud, a ballet dancer.

    Remarks: 
    Commissioned by Winton & Carolyn Blount for $50,000. Cast no. 1/3. The sculpture was originally installed in the lobby of the Carolyn Blount Theater. In 1989, it was moved outdoors over the objections of some local residents who preferred its indoor location. Ballet dancer Yvan Michaud posed for the sculpture. IAS files include related articles from the Alabama Journal, Dec. 4, 1985, the Birmingham News, June 21, 1987, the Montgomery Advertiser and Alabama Journal, Dec. 24, 1989, a photograph of the sculpture in its original location and additional information.
