    Remarks:
The sculpture is one of several in Boys Town based on a 1920's photograph of 2 actual residents, one of whom wore leg braces and was routinely carried around town. The statue has become a symbol for the city. IAS files contain related newsclippings from Omaha World Herald, Aug. 26, 1978 and These Times (Nashville, TN) May, 1983.
