Foltz D O (Incised on lower center of sculpture:) AMERICA/I TOOK STARS AND STRIPES,/AND PLACED THEM ON THE MOON/I RANG FREEDOM'S BELL,/AND I PLAYED FREEDOM'S TUNE (Incised on lower center, rear:) AMERICA/EDISON AND WRIGHT/GAVE ME LIGHT AND FLIGHT/I'LL REACH FOR THE STARS,/JUPITER AND MARS (On plaque on base:) DEDICATED TO/THE PEOPLE OF WESTERVILLE/BY MCDONALD'S RESTAURANTS/AUGUST 1990 signed Description:  Cylindric sculpture topped by the moon. Thirty-three arms and hands, aged from two months to eighty years, reach up to the moon, which is embraced by the hands at the top of the column.
