    A bronze sculpture of a man sitting on a low concrete wall before the tiered waterfall of a fountain. He leans over to feed a pigeon by his feet. He wears a well-worn, wide-brimmed hat and a jacket. A bedroll rests on top of the wall on his proper right side.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture commemorates past inhabitants of the railroad gulch that was covered by what is now Underground Atlanta. The pigeon has been stolen and recast at least three times; each time it has been set a little further down into the concrete. IAS files contain two newspaper articles from The Atlanta Journal-The Atlanta Constitution: June 25, 1989, pg. L1, L5 and Nov. 22, 1993, pg. C1, C4.
