    Description: 
    Environmental sculpture consisting of two large gate posts surmounted by massive capitals and flanked by a rebar steel gate leading into a courtyard and mounded area partially enclosed by low retaining walls. Within the courtyard is a low stainless steel mirrored table that is lit from below and surrounded by upright stone slabs. Blue rug juniper, rocket juniper, sedum, hostas, and barberry shrubs have been planted in certain areas of the sculpture.

    Remarks: 
    Funded by the City of Toledo's One Percent for Art Program. The limestone used in the sculpture was salvaged from the Walbridge Park retaining walls. The rebar gate is shaped in the letters of the police motto: "SERVE AND PROTECT." IAS files contain a list of names on plaque and design plans.
