    Description: 
    A robed female figure standing atop a rectangular base. The woman stands holding a wreath in front of her with both hands. She looks straight ahead and wears her hair pulled back from her face. She has a cloak over her shoulder. Her proper left leg is slightly bent and slightly forward. The figure stands atop a simple stone base with a stepped bottom.

    The monument was erected by the state of Minnesota in honor of Minnesota soldiers who lost their lives during the Civil War.
