Description:
A five piece abstract fountain sculpture made of cast bronze set within a concrete pool symbolizes the rain forest of the Olympic Peninsula. Two abstract tree forms stand in the pool, one vertical and one horizontal. Within the bronze work of the horizontal structure are screens with Asian calligraphic patterns referring to the close connection between the Washington region, China, and Japan. Three smaller abstract forms about one foot high surround the vertical form. Internal plumbing allows water to tumble down the vertical form from the top.
