    Remarks: 
    One of at least seven sculptures, cast from everyday objects, placed by the artist around the city in 1981, while she was a Seattle Arts Commission artist. The open book is Lucy Lippard's "Changing: Essays in Art Criticism. The book is open to pages 28 and 29, where the author discusses how art and the criteria for judging it changes over time. IAS files contain related excerpt from James M. Rupp's "Art in Seattle's Public Places," Seattle: Univ. of Washington Press, 1992, pg. 200.
