Approx. 90 x 83 x 118 in.

A series of eight orange-painted aluminum tubes (12" diam.) bent into a chevron pattern. Each pipe is painted a different shade of orange. The sculpture is installed in a rectangular bed of gravel.

The sculpture was purchased from the artist with matching grants from the National Endowment for the Arts and an anonymous donor in Oct. 1976. Originally the sculpture was installed in front of the Gulick Auditorium and at some point was installed beside the E. J. Noble University Center. From 1983-1986, the sculpture was in storage. IAS files contain an excerpt from the St. Lawrence University Bulletin (Summer 1990): pg. 22-25.
