    Remarks: 
    The sculpture project was funded by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. The site was formerly part of The Greenwood Colliery, a strip-mining area. The trees were planted as a reclamation project to save the scarred terrain. The site is now maintained as a permanent wetlands for wildlife by the Scranton Chamber of Commerce.
