Remarks:
The sculpture was sponsored by a grant from the University of Missouri Research Council, for experimentation with Cor-Ten steel. The sculpture is a replacement for another piece of the same title done by the artist in epoxy resin and dedicated at the University's Homecoming in 1964 (see IAS record MO000387). The Cor-Ten steel piece was erected sometime before 1968.
