    Description: 
    Twenty-three stainless steel panels, each 3 feet square. They are mounted perpendicular to the concrete facia beam at the entrance to the building. The panels are mirror-finished on the south side; enameled on the north side. The color spectrum runs cool to the south and warm to the north. Two stainless steel anchors attach each panel to the concrete. The panels are also braced by four stainless steel aircraft cables.

    This piece was commissioned for $22,580, as part of Florida state's Art in Public Buildings program (project #DLE-8357/1006/8230). Nearby plaque reads: Joseph A. Carlucci/1929-1986/In memory of dedicated service to law enforcement. IAS files contain artist's proposal for the sculpture (n.d.) and state "Agreement for Art Services" signed by the artist on Dec. 17, 1986.
