Description:
Abstract tower consisting of a tripod of steel tubing which supports mirror-finished steel panels designed to reflect, kaleidoscopically, the textures and colors of adjacent building. Tower spans walkway near entrance to Mandarin Senior Citizens Center.

Remarks:
Commissioned as part of a project to provide outdoor sculpture for selected community centers in Jacksonville. Funds were provided by the Community Block Grant Program administered by the City of Jacksonville, Department of Housing and Urban Development. Neighborhood selection committees awarded the final commissions. IAS files include artist's proposal for the sculpture and related article from Vue (The Arts Magazine), July/August 1979.
