Description:
Bas-relief panel with full-length portraits of George Burns and Gracie Allen. He stands on the left and wears a suit. She stands on the right and wears a long-sleeved dress and heels. Each figure's head is turned slightly toward the other. The self-framed concrete relief panel is affixed to a wall.

Remarks:
The sculpture is one of three commissioned sculptural relief panels the artist created for the Academy. Cost of all three was $67,500. The panels were commissioned to meet the city's percent for art requirement. IAS files contain copies of related contracts, correspondence and reports. IAS files contain copies of engineers' drawings.
