    Remarks: 
    The sculpture was erected by the Argonaut club and originally stood outside the County Courthouse. A newsclipping from the Bakersfield Californian, dated April 5, 1954, indicates the sculpture had been "recently moved" to a temporary resting spot alongside the Hall of Records (its current location).
