An oval portrait of Jane Eliza White Berry facing forward with her gaze directed forward and down. She wears a red off-the-shoulder dress with a red ribbon laced across a white bodice and short puffed sleeves trimmed with white lace. Her brown hair is parted in middle and swept back from her face, with a small cluster of flowers tucked above her right ear.

The portrait is by either Washington Bogart Cooper or his brother William B. Cooper. This portrait was once on loan to the Washington County Museum of Fine Art in Maryland. The painting descended in the Grundy, Wharton and White families of Nashville, Tennessee. Jane Eliza White was the daughter of Gen. William White and the grandmother of Mary Bass Cole, both of Nashville, Tennessee. Jane Eliza's brother George Wharton White's portrait was also painted by artist Cooper.
