    The sculpture was donated to Saint Peter Claver Catholic Church by the August Barb Gruenke and Theodore Eruesline Sprangers. It was purchased from Conrad Schmitt Studios, where it was designed by Bernard Gruenke and Andrea Roffo. The Art Factory of Italy fabricated the sculpture and Boratti was the carver.
