Inscription:  (On rear, near base:) Clivia '3(transcription illegible) signed Description:  A blue-glazed terra cotta sculpture depicting three girls seated side by side reading a book. The girl in the middle holds the book in her lap with her proper left hand and rests her proper right arm around the girl seated next to her. The sculpture sits atop a stone wall with a fountain on one side. The fountain spout is a blue-glazed terra cotta fish.
