    Description: 
    A siren bears an adolescent boy on her proper left shoulder as she swims through the waves. The siren has large wings spread and a fish's tail curling behind her. Her proper left arm holds the boy's proper left leg and her proper right hand holds the boy's proper left hand at the siren's neck. The boy's proper right hand supports himself on the siren's back. His proper right leg rest on the siren's chest while his proper left leg dangles just above the waves. The siren is nude and the boy wears a loincloth.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture was sold by the Francini Galleries in New York to the Mayflower Hotel in 1929, and the Mayflower sold the sculpture was sold Robert Marlowe of the National Memorial Park in 1957. Francini Galleries obtained the sculpture from the sale of the collection of Isaac D. Fletcher in 1917.
