Description:
A painted and stainless steel, open tower, formed of three square tubular frames, surrounding a vertical I-beam which S-curves at the bottom end. Three free-form horizontal rings are attached to the frames in the upper fourth of the tower. A stainless steel linear shadow lies on the ground, northwest of the tower, extending to the building wall and up the wall. This shadow marks the location of the morning equinox shadow. A concrete linear shadow lying on the ground, northeast of the tower marks the location of the afternoon equinox shadow. The tower is multicolored and sits on a large concrete oval base surrounded by a low wall with openings at each end.
