    Remarks:
The artist of this small version of Puck is listed as Henry Bearer on the SOS survey questionnaire, but various publications note that the artist could be Caspar Buberl. The SOS survey notes that the piece is signed by Bearer. For related information see Dolkart, Andrew S., "New York Guide to Landmarks," Preservation Press, National Trust for Historic Preservation, 1992, pg. 35 (which notes Caspar Buberl as the artist); and the New York Landmarks Preservation Commission Designation List 164 LP-1226, April 12, 1983 (which notes that the artist of this smaller Puck is unknown, and that Buberl is known to have created a statue of Puck, but whether he created this Puck is not known). IAS files contain a copy of the Landmarks Preservation Commission Designation List which includes an extensive bibliography of material on the Puck building.
