    Remarks: 
    The sculpture is on long-term loan from the artist and Biscuit Run Studios (Charlottesville, Virginia). The artist did the work as an advertisement for his display at Long's Park Festival outside Lancaster. The sculpture was financed privately. IAS files contain a related press release, Penn State York Public Information Office News, May 23, 1991. IAS files also contain two related articles: The York Dispatch (Pennsylvania), May 29, 1991, pg. E1, E2; York Daily Record (Pennsylvania), May 31, pg. 8B. The sculpture was installed on campus in time for the college's dedication of its new academic center, which opened June 6th, 1991. It is lit at night.
